How to download music on a phone
- Open the site in your mobile browser and type a song or artist name.
- Tap a result and preview the details before you commit to a download.
- Choose MP3 and start the download.
- Find the file in Downloads (Android) or in Files → On My iPhone (iOS).
Watch your mobile data
Audio files are small compared with video, but a long playlist still adds up. If you are on a limited data plan, download over Wi-Fi and keep an eye on the size shown before you tap the button. For a desktop-style flow, compare Mp3Juice.
Keep an eye on storage
Phones fill up quickly with music. Move older files to a microSD card on Android, or to cloud storage, and delete downloads you no longer listen to. A full device is the most common reason a download fails silently.
Find the file again
On Android, open the Files app and go to Downloads. On iPhone, open the Files app, tap Browse, then On My iPhone and Downloads. Sort by date so the newest file sits at the top. To keep a whole video rather than just audio, see the downloader.
The steps above run on the YTMP3 converter on the homepage, where you search by keyword or paste a link and download the finished file.
Download only what you have the right to keep, and avoid tabs or pop-ups that ask you to install unknown apps.
